1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Current (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
Current is an autonomous investment technology platform that uses artificial intelligence to analyze markets and execute trades on behalf of its members. The Platform connects to third-party brokerage services to facilitate trading activity.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and a legal resident of a jurisdiction where the use of such services is permitted. Access to Current is by invitation only.
4. Not Financial Advice
Current does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. All trading activity is executed by autonomous systems based on algorithmic analysis. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You should consult with qualified professionals before making investment decisions.
5. Risk Disclosure
Autonomous trading involves significant risk, including the potential loss of your entire investment. Markets are volatile and unpredictable. By using Current, you acknowledge and accept these risks. You should only invest capital you can afford to lose.
6. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and any connected brokerage accounts. You must provide accurate information during registration. You may disconnect your brokerage and stop trading at any time.
7. Brokerage Services
Trading is executed through Alpaca Securities LLC, a registered broker-dealer and member of FINRA/SIPC. Current is not a broker-dealer. Your funds are held in your brokerage account, not by Current. Brokerage services are subject to Alpaca's own terms and conditions.
8. Fees
Current's fee structure is disclosed during onboarding. Fees may include management fees and/or performance-based fees. Fee changes will be communicated with 30 days notice. Brokerage-related fees (commissions, regulatory fees) are separate and governed by your brokerage agreement.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, algorithms, trade signals, analysis, and technology comprising the Platform are the intellectual property of Current and its affiliates. You may not reverse-engineer, copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform.
10. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Current, you consent to the collection and use of data as described therein.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Current and its affiliates shall not be liable for any trading losses, missed opportunities, system downtime, data inaccuracies, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee any specific investment outcomes or returns.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause. You may terminate your account at any time by disconnecting your brokerage and contacting support.
14. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
